1. Who we are
Michelin Support Services ("we", "us"), trading as Michelin Support. Contact us at support@michelinsupport.co.uk or Springhill House, Walsall Road, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS14 0BX.
2. What we collect
When you use this site we may collect:
- Your name and email address (required to reply to you).
- Your phone number, product model, and where/when you bought it (optional, helps us answer your enquiry faster).
- The description of the problem you've sent us.
- Delivery details, the products ordered, order value and PayPal transaction references when you buy from the shop. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Your IP address and browser user-agent (recorded automatically against the request as an anti-abuse measure).
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. The only cookies we set are a session cookie required for the support form and basket to work.
3. Why we collect it
We use it to answer support requests, provide requested guides, take and fulfil orders, prevent abuse, maintain transaction records and meet legal obligations. The relevant lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation.
4. How long we keep it
Order and payment records are normally retained for up to six years for accounting, dispute and legal purposes. Support records are kept only for as long as needed for the request, warranty history and applicable legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
5. Who we share it with
Only service providers needed to operate the service, including PayPal for payment and the selected delivery courier. We may also disclose information where legally required. We never sell or rent personal data.
6. Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (subject access).
- Have it corrected if it's wrong.
- Have it deleted (right to erasure), subject to our retention obligations.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Email us at support@michelinsupport.co.uk to exercise any of these rights and we will respond within one calendar month.
7. Changes
If we update this policy we will note the new date at the top.
